SharePointSite entity messages and methods

The SharePoint site entity represents a location record in Microsoft Dynamics CRM that points to a site collection or a site on a server that is running SharePoint Server. The schema name for this entity is SharePointSite. To view the entity metadata for your organization, install the Metadata Browser solution described in Browse the metadata for your organization. You can also view the metadata for an uncustomized organization in the Excel file called EntityMetadata.xlsx included in the top-level folder of the SDK download.

The following table describes the messages for this entity, which you use with the IOrganizationService.Execute method.

AssignRequest

Assigns a SharePoint site record to another user or team.

CreateRequest

Creates a SharePoint site record. You can also call the IOrganizationService.Create method.

DeleteRequest

Deletes a SharePoint site record. You can also call the IOrganizationService.Delete method.

GrantAccessRequest

Shares a SharePoint site record with another security principal (user or team).

ModifyAccessRequest

Changes the access rights for a SharePoint site record previously shared with another security principal (user or team).

RetrieveRequest

Retrieves a SharePoint site record. You can also call the IOrganizationService.Retrieve method.

RetrieveAbsoluteAndSiteCollectionUrlRequest

Retrieves the absolute (complete) URL and the site collection URL of a SharePoint site record.

RetrieveMultipleRequest

Retrieves a collection of SharePoint site records. You can also call theIOrganizationService.RetrieveMultiple method.

RetrievePrincipalAccessRequest

Retrieves the access the specified security principal (user or team) has to a SharePoint site record.

RetrieveSharedPrincipalsAndAccessRequest

Retrieves the security principals (users or teams) that have access to a SharePoint site, and their access rights to the SharePoint site record.

RevokeAccessRequest

Removes all access to a SharePoint site record for the specified security principal (user or team).

SetStateRequest

Sets the state of a SharePoint site record. The possible values for this attribute are defined in the SharePointSite.State attribute. If you are using early bound types, you can use the SharePointSiteState enumeration. For a list of states, see SharePointSite entity metadata. You can find this information in the metadata for your organization. See the preceding metadata browser information.

UpdateRequest

Updates a SharePoint site record. You can also call the IOrganizationService.Update method.
