Address Validation Field, General Ledger Setup Table

Three options are available:

. Post Code & City: Post Code and City fields are validated against Table 225 Post Code.

. Entire Address: Address, Address 2, Post Code and City fields are validated against the Post Office database. The value of the fields can be updated to match the official address format stored in the Post Office database. In Australia, the DPID is retrieved from the Post Office database and stored in Microsoft Dynamics NAV. The AMAS Software field must be filled in.

. DPID: Only used in Australia. Address, Address 2, Post Code and City fields are validated against the Post Office database. The DPID is retrieved from the Post Office database and stored in Microsoft Dynamics NAV. The AMAS Software field must be filled in.
