How to: Define Table Relations

You can define table relations to bind master and supplementary tables in the synchronization entity. You do this by associating fields of the master table with fields of the supplementary table.

To specify a table relation

  1. In the Search box, enter Outlook Synch. Entity, and then choose the related link.

  2. Select the entity you want, and on the Home tab, in the Manage group, choose Edit.

  3. Choose the Table Relation field. The Outlook Synch. Filters window opens.

  4. Choose the Field Name field to open the list of fields for the selected table on the lines.

  5. In the Outlook Synch. Table Fields window, select a table, and then choose the OK button.

  6. In the Type field of the Outlook Synch. Filters window, select FIELD.

  7. Choose the Value field. The Outlook Synch. Table Fields window opens with a list of fields from the master table selected in the header of the Outlook Synch. Entity window.

  8. Select a field and choose the OK button to insert it in the Value field.

  9. The final filtering expression is displayed in the Filtering Expression field. When you are finished with the filters, choose the OK button to apply them.
