How to: View Additional Information About Posted Sales Documents
When you post a sales invoice, a sales shipment, or a sales credit memo, the information on the document is transferred to the Posted Sales Invoice, Posted Sales Shipment, or Posted Sales Credit Memo windows.
This procedure describes how to view additional information in a sales invoice, but you can use these steps for other sales documents as well.
To view additional information about a posted sales invoice
In the Search box, enter Posted Sales Invoices, and then choose the related link. Open the sales invoice you want to view. The Posted Sales Invoice window opens.
You cannot enter, change, or delete anything in this window except for a few fields on the Shipping FastTab of a posted sales shipment.
You can print the invoice from this window. On the Actions tab, in the General group, choose Print.
To get an overview of the posted invoice, on the Navigate window, in the Invoice group, choose Statistics.
If you are viewing a shipment or a credit memo, choose the Statistics button from the Shipment or Credit Memo groups, respectively.
After a period of time, you may have a large amount of outdated information in these windows. To save space in the database, you can delete printed invoices.
