Customer Price Group Table

Specifies the customers that are assigned to price groups, which makes it easy to set up sales prices that depend on the customer who buys the item.

You set up sales prices in the Sales Price table. Various types can be set up where the individual price is determined by the date, currency, minimum quantity, unit of measure or customer price group, or a combination of all five. It is not necessary to set up price groups in order to have sales prices, but you can do it if the item price depends on the customer group. The program uses the Customer Price Group table to keep track of the different sales prices.

After you have set up customer price group codes, you can enter them on customer cards or sales documents such as quotes or invoices. When an item is sold, if the sales document contains a price group code, the program will check to see whether this item has a special price or condition defined for the customer price group specified.

To use customer price groups, you must also fill in the Sales Prices window.
