Document No. length Field, Sales & Receivables Setup Table
This field indicates the number of digits used for specifying the document number in the KID number.
You specify the number of digits you want to use. Please note that the program can use up to 20 digits in a document number, but if you decide to use fewer, you just specify the number you want to use.
Note: Only digits are allowed in KID numbers. It is not possible to use alphanumeric characters, for instance. You should consider this when setting up the number series to be used on documents.
The format of the KID number is specified in the field KID Setup. The Document Number will always be a part of the KID number.
