Amount Type Field, Acc. Schedule Line Table
Specifies the type of entries that will be included in the amounts in the account schedule row.
The field has three options.

Net Amount |
Includes both credit and debit entries. |
Debit Amount |
Includes debit entries only. |
Credit amount |
Includes credit entries only. |
The Amount Type field in the Column Layout table has a similar function to this field. If a row and column have conflicting values, the most restricted type will apply. For example, net amount is the default value in this field, and will be overridden by any other value in the Column Type field. If a row has credit amount in the field and a column has debit amount in the Amount Type field, the result where that particular row and column intersect will be zero.
