Code Field, Customer Price Group Table
Specifies a code to identify the price group.
When you enter the price group code in this table, the code is copied from the Customer Price Group table to the corresponding fields in the Sales Price table.
After you have set up price group codes, you can enter them on customer cards or sales documents such as quotes or invoices. For more information, see How to: Enter Customer Price Group Codes on Customer Cards.
When an item is sold, if the sales document contains a price group code, the program will check to see whether this item has a special price or condition defined for the price group.
You can enter a maximum of 10 characters, both numbers and letters. Use codes that are easy to remember and describe which type of customer is represented by the code, such as Regular and New.
The code must be unique - you cannot have the same code twice in one table. You can set up as many codes as you like. Several customers can belong to the same price group.
