No. Field, Production BOM Header Table

Specifies the BOM number. You can use one of the following methods:

If you have set up a default production BOM number series, press ENTER to have the program fill in this field with the next number in the series
If you have set up more than one number series for production BOMs, click the field and select the series you want to use. The program will fill in the field with the next number in that series.
If you have not set up a number series for production BOMs, or if the number series has a checkmark in the Manual Nos. field, you can enter a number manually. You can enter a maximum of 20 characters, both numbers and letters. The number must be unique - you cannot have the same number twice in one table.

The number identifies the production BOM. You can set up as many codes as you like.

You must always specify a production BOM number before you can fill in the other fields in the BOM card.
