Move Time Field, Routing Line Table

Specifies the move time according to the value in the Move Time Unit of Measure field. The move time is the time that a job or item spends in transit from one operation to another.

Example:

If you select Minutes in the Move Time Unit of Measure field and you enter 5 here, this means that you determine a move time of 5 minutes for this operation. You can enter the required time in distinct values by using different time units of measure for, for example, run time and wait time.

The sum of the values in the Setup Time, Run Time, Wait Time and Move Time fields plus the Queue Time field on the relevant Machine or Work Center card combine to give the production lead time of the item.
