Description Field, Requisition Line Table

Specifies a text that describes the entry.

If you are entering an item or an account number on the line and have filled in the No. field, the program will automatically retrieve the appropriate description from the Item or G/L Account table.

Instead of entering an item from the Item table or an account number from the chart of accounts, you can enter a remark about why you are posting the line, for example, or why you want to purchase a certain kind of office equipment.
