Unit Cost Field, Assembly Line Table

Specifies the unit cost of the assembly component. The value is copied from the Unit Cost field on the item card, but you can change it manually on the assembly order line.

Additional Information

If the assembly item’s costing method is not Standard, then the unit cost in this field contributes to automatically calculate the unit cost of the assembly item with the unit cost of other assembly components or resources.

The unit cost differs from the direct unit cost because the unit cost includes the indirect cost.
