Unit Cost Field, Assembly Header Table
Specifies the unit cost of the assembly item. The value is copied from the Unit Cost field on the item card, but you can change it on the assembly order header.
Additional Information
If the assembly item’s costing method is not Standard, then the unit cost in this field is automatically calculated based on the unit costs of the assembly components on the assembly order lines.
If the assembly item’s costing method is Standard, then this field is not updated, but you can change it manually.
The unit cost differs from the direct unit cost because the unit cost includes the indirect cost.
