Amount to Apply Field, Cust. Ledger Entry Table

Specifies the amount to apply to the applying entry, when you set the applies-to ID. The program fills in the field with the full amount of the remaining amount or with the same amount as the applying entry when you set the applies-to ID; in case the amount of the applying entry is less than remaining amount. You can change the amount to be only a part of the remaining amount and thereby, for example, split a payment over several invoices.
