Internet Address Field, Shipping Agent Table

Specifies an Internet address for the shipping agent. You can enter a maximum of 250 characters, both numbers and letters.

An example of the address could be:

http://www.dhl.com/track/track.post-track?awb=%1\&origin=United Kingdom

If you have integrated Microsoft Dynamics NAV with the Internet, Microsoft Dynamics NAV will use this information when you use the Track Package function on a posted shipment. Microsoft Dynamics NAV will substitute %1 with the contents of the Package Tracking No. field on the shipment header. Then the program will open the shipping agent's Internet site and begin a search for the relevant package.

For more information on how to work with fields and columns, see Work with Data. For assistance in finding specific pages, see Search.
