Entry Status Field, BACS Ledger Entry Table

This field shows the exporting (and posting) status of the BACS ledger entry.

Option Description

Exported

Indicates that the BACS file line has been exported.

Voided

Indicates that the BACS file line has been voided from the journal line. You can reexport it when you are ready. This status is useful if a problem occurs with the software which processes the BACS file and you must reexport the BACS file.

Posted

Indicates that the BACS file line has been exported and posted. In this situation, the relevant accounts have been updated.

Financially Voided

Indicates that the BACS file line has been voided and all financial transactions resulting from the payment of the BACS file line have also been cancelled.

You can void an exported or posted BACS file line by marking the relevant BACS ledger entries. On the Navigate tab, in the BACS group, choose Void BACS.
