Dimensions as Columns Field, Config. Line Table

Specifies whether the configuration includes dimensions as columns. When you select the Dimensions as Columns check box, the dimensions are included in the Excel worksheet that you create for configuration. In order to select this check box, you must include the Default Dimension and Dimension Value tables in the configuration package.

After export to Excel, you can add or update dimension values in Excel, or set a dimension to blank during the configuration process. To set a dimension to blank, remove the dimension value in Excel. When you import the worksheet with your changes, and then apply the data, the default dimensions are updated accordingly. Although you can delete in Excel a dimension value from a record that you are modifying, the default dimension record is not deleted when you apply data during configuration. To delete the shortcut dimension linked to the record, you have to open the Default Dimensions window for this record and manually delete it there.
