AuditLog.Log Method (String, LogData)

Logs the messages to the database using the AuditLog web service asynchronously.

Syntax

public static void Log(
    string auditFlagName,
    LogData logData
)

Public Shared Sub Log (
    auditFlagName As String,
    logData As LogData
)

Parameters

• auditFlagName
  Type: System.String

  Specifies the arbitrary audit flag identifier

• logData
  Type: Microsoft.Uii.Common.Entities.LogData

  Audit log record where ToString() will be used to extract contents.

Remarks

Caching done based on the NoCache property. Message will be logged only if GetAuditFlag(auditFlagName) returns non-zero. Use SetAuditFlag(auditFlagName) to set.
