Game Definition File Editor Toolbar Commands
This section provides reference material about the GDF Editor toolbar commands. The toolbar contains the following commands:
New Project
Creates a new GDF project file and launches the New Game Definition Project wizard.Open an existing project
Opens an existing project (.GDFMakerProject) file.Save All
Saves the current GDF project.Cut
Cuts selected text to the clipboard.Copy
Copies selected text to the clipboard.Paste
Pastes cut or copied text from the clipboard.Build Resource Script for Project
Builds the current GDF project into a resource file.The GDF Editor will build a resource file for all defined languages, including the neutral language. The editor also creates a directory, under the GDF project directory, named with a language abbreviation (such as ENU for English and FRA for French). Each of these language-specific directories contains the GDF, the thumbnail image, and the icon for that language.
