Read Receipts

Use Read Receipts to control how e-mail messages you receive for which the sender has requested a read receipt are responded to. A read receipt is a response that's sent back to the sender indicating you've read their message. The following three options are available when you use read receipts.
Setting | Description |

Ask me before sending a response |
Select this option button if you want to be prompted before a read receipt is sent. This is the default setting. |
Always send a response |
Select this option button to automatically send a read receipt to the sender whenever one is requested. |
Never send a response |
Select this option if you never want to send a read receipt to a sender who requests a receipt for their e-mail message. |
