Reset Your Voice Mail PIN

Applies to: Office 365 for enterprises, Microsoft Exchange

You can reset the PIN you use to access your voice mail, e-mail, calendar items, and personal contacts. When you reset your voice mail PIN, a temporary PIN will be sent to you in an e-mail message.

How do I reset my voice mail PIN?

  1. In Outlook Web App, click Options > See All Options > Phone.
  2. On the Voice Mail tab, under Reset PIN, click Reset my voice mail PIN.
  3. In the Reset Voice Mail PIN box, click OK.
  4. To view your new voice mail PIN, in the upper-right corner, click My Mail.
  5. In your Inbox, locate and click the e-mail message with the subject line "Your PIN has been reset" to see your new PIN.

What else do I need to know?

  • When you call in to Outlook Voice Access to sign in to your mailbox for the first time after you reset your voice mail PIN, the voice mail system will prompt you to enter a new voice mail PIN.
  • The number of digits in your voice mail PIN is set by the administrator for your voice mail system.
