ScanDocfilesAsContainers Property of the IFPCMailAntivirusSettings Interface

The ScanDocfilesAsContainers property gets or sets a Boolean value that indicates whether files that use structured storage and the OLE embedded data format will be scanned as containers of other files.

Parameters

  • fScanDocfilesAsContainers
    Boolean value that indicates whether files that use structured storage and the OLE embedded data format will be scanned as containers of other files.

  • pfScanDocfilesAsContainers
    Pointer to a Boolean variable that is set on return to VARIANT_TRUE if files that use structured storage and the OLE embedded data format will be scanned as containers of other files, or to VARIANT_FALSE if files that use structured storage and the OLE embedded data format will not be scanned as containers of other files.

Return Value

These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.

Remarks

This property is read/write. Its default value is False (VARIANT_FALSE in C++).

Files that use structured storage and the OLE embedded data format include .doc, .xls, .ppt, and .shs files.
