The MetadataGenerationStatement property gets or sets the SQL metadata generation statement for the Report Definition Language (RDL) report definition.

Parameters

bstrMetadataGenerationStatement
BSTR that specifies the SQL metadata generation statement for the RDL report definition.

Pointer to a BSTR that is set on return to a string value specifying the SQL metadata generation statement for the RDL report definition.

Return Value

These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.
