DestinationAuthenticationMethod Property of the IFPCSmtpRouteAuthenticationSettings Interface

The DestinationAuthenticationMethod property gets or sets a value from the FpcSmtpDestinationAuthenticationMethod enumerated type that indicates the authentication method to be used for authentication with the destination SMTP server.

Parameters

  • DestinationAuthenticationMethod
    Value from the FpcSmtpDestinationAuthenticationMethod enumerated type that indicates the authentication method to be used for authentication with the destination SMTP server.

  • pDestinationAuthenticationMethod
    Pointer to a variable that on return receives a value from the FpcSmtpDestinationAuthenticationMethod enumerated type indicating the authentication method to be used for authentication with the destination SMTP server.

Return Value

These property methods return S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, they return an error code.

Value from the FpcSmtpDestinationAuthenticationMethod enumerated type that indicates the authentication method to be used for authentication with the destination SMTP server.

Remarks

This property is read/write. Its default value is fpcDefaultAuthentication, which indicates that the default authentication method of the destination server is used.
