The PersistencePoint Activity

The PersistencePoint activity lets you enforce workflow persistence at a specific point in operation execution. When DCS encounters the PersistencePoint activity, if a persistence service is active, the current workflow state is persisted in the database.

Note

If you do not define a persistence service in the application server configuration, DCS ignores this activity and executes the next activity in the sequence.
