To copy, cut, paste, or delete an object
Select the desired object or objects on the artboard or in the Objects and Timeline panel. To select multiple objects, hold down the Ctrl key.
Do one of the following:
To delete the object and make it available for pasting elsewhere, select Cut on the Edit menu.
To copy the object, select Copy on the Edit menu.
To delete the object, press Delete or select Delete on the Edit menu.
If you want to paste the object elsewhere and you chose either Cut or Copy in the previous step, activate the layout panel that you want to contain the object, and then select Paste on the Edit menu.
Note
In Blend for Visual Studio 2012, you can quickly create a duplicate of one or many objects by selecting them and then holding down both the Alt key when you drag them or nudge them with the arrow keys. When you are in duplication mode, the pointer changes to the duplication pointer . To add more objects to your selection, drag a new object without having released the Alt key from the last time that you duplicated objects.
