Rename a storyboard (Blend for Visual Studio)

In Blend for Visual Studio 2012, you can now use a useful drop-down menu in the Objects and Timeline panel to perform actions on the selected storyboard. One of these actions is renaming the storyboard.

To rename a storyboard

  1. Do one of the following:

    • With a storyboard open in the Objects and Timeline panel, click the drop-down button next to New JJ155085.86937695-03dd-44ea-aa30-28d4029b3ad0(en-us,VS.110).png.

A menu appears that lists all the functions that you can apply to the open storyboard, in addition to an option to create a new storyboard.

    • Click Rename.

    • Click the name of the storyboard, and then click again in order to make the name editable.

The name of the storyboard becomes selected and editable.

  2. Type a new name and press ENTER.
