Change options for a saved Web page

After your Web page is saved from a map, you can change any of the options in the Save as Web Page dialog box. For example, if you add a route to your map after you saved it as a Web page, you can modify the Web page to include driving directions.

  1. Open the map file from which the Web page was created.

    How?

  2. On the File menu, click Manage Saved Web Pages.

  3. Select the Web page that you want to change.

  4. Click Edit.

The Save as Web Page dialog box opens.

  5. Change the options you want.

  6. Click OK.

  7. Click Close.

Notes

If you type a new file name or location in the File name box in the Save as Web Page dialog box, a copy of the original Web page is made using the new name or location. The original is left intact, and both Web pages are listed in the Manage Saved Web Pages dialog box. If you don't want the original Web page, you can remove it from the map.

If you rename a Web page file or move it to a new location in Windows Explorer, the Web page is no longer associated with the map file and cannot be modified using MapPoint. The name and location of the original Web page still appears in the Manage Saved Web Pages dialog box file list.
