Pushpin object
The Pushpin object marks a place on the map or represents data. Pushpin objects can be created by importing or linking to data, or by placing them directly on the map. The Pushpin object allows access to properties, such as Pushpin balloon text, Pushpin symbols, and hyperlinks. You can set which fields are visible in Pushpin balloons for a data set by using the SetFieldsVisibleInBalloon method of the DataSet object. This object is invalidated after the map is closed.
