Add a rectangle or square

Note   To complete the following procedure, you must use the Drawing toolbar. If the Drawing toolbar is not visible, on the View menu, point to Toolbars, and then click Drawing.

On the Drawing toolbar, click Rectangle , and then do one of the following:

• To draw a standard-sized square, double-click in the map.

• To draw a rectangle, drag the mouse.

• To draw a square, hold down SHIFT, and then drag the mouse.
