Create a pushpin

1. On the Standard toolbar, click Create pushpin .

2. Click the exact location on the map where you want to place the pushpin.

3. To name your pushpin, type a title for the pushpin in the gray bar of the text balloon, and then press ENTER.

   Note   You can use up to 128 characters (with spaces) in the name.

4. To add text to the pushpin note, click in the body of the balloon, and then type your text.

5. Click  in the text balloon to close the pushpin note.

6. To save your changes, save your map by clicking Save on the File menu.

Tip   Type a URL, or a link to a file that resides on a shared directory, to link from a pushpin to a Web site, an intranet site, or a file.

Note   Each pushpin that you create is automatically added to the set called My Pushpins and is saved with your map.
