How to: Remove Alerts

If you no longer need to be alerted to a change in a team project, you can remove your alert subscriptions.

Required Permissions

To perform these procedures, you must be a member of the Readers group or have the View project-level information permission set to Allow. For more information, see Team Foundation Server Permissions.

To remove alerts

  1. With a team project node selected, on the Team menu, click Project Alerts.

  2. Clear the check box next to the alerts you no longer want. All e-mail addresses for that alert will be removed.

  3. Click OK to save your changes for the selected team project.

To remove recipients of alerts

  1. With a team project node selected, on the Team menu, click Project Alerts.

  2. For each alert, in the Recipients box, delete the e-mail addresses of the people you no longer want notified of the alert.

  3. Click OK to save your changes for the selected team project.
