How to: Create, Edit, and Delete Windows SharePoint Services Sites

A default Windows SharePoint Services Web site is automatically created when you install Visual Studio Team Foundation Server. Additionally, every time that you create a new project in Team Foundation Server, a project portal is automatically created. However, you can create additional Web sites for use with Team Foundation Server. You can also modify and delete these Windows SharePoint Services Web sites. For more information about Windows SharePoint Services sites and Windows SharePoint Services administration, see the Windows SharePoint Services Administrator's Guide (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=19480).

Warning

You should not delete a project Web site or a default administration Web site unless you are retiring the project and/or Team Foundation Server server.
