How to: View Existing Users
You can see which users and groups are directly associated with a project or with the Team Foundation Server itself.
Required Permissions
To perform this procedure, you must be a member of the Team Foundation Valid Users group or have the View Project-Level Information permission set to Allow. For more information about permissions, see Team Foundation Server Permissions.
To view all project-level users
In Team Explorer, select the team project that the group is in.
From the Team menu, point to Team Project Settings, and then click Security.
In the Project Security dialog box, a list of both users and groups associated with the project displays in the Users and Groups window.
When you are finished reviewing the users and groups for the project, click Close.
Note
To review the members of a project-level group, from the Team menu, point to Team Project Settings, click Group Membership, click the group for whom you want to review membership, and then click Properties.
To view all server-level users
In Team Explorer, select the Team Foundation Server.
From the Team menu, point to Team Foundation Server Settings, and then click Security.
In the Global Security dialog box, a list of both users and groups associated with the project displays in the Users and Groups window.
When you are finished reviewing the users and groups for the project, click Close.
