DMessengerEvents::OnContactAddedToGroup Event

Deprecated. Indicates that a contact has been added to a group.

Syntax

void OnContactAddedToGroup(      
    LONG hr,
    IDispatch *pMGroup,
    IDispatch *pMContact
);

Parameters

  • hr
    [in] Success or error code as a LONG. For a table of the MSGR_E_* constants, see MSGRConstants.

    Possible values are as follows:

    • S_OK
      A user was successfully blocked or unblocked.
    • MSGR_E_USER_NOT_FOUND
      The user specified to be added does not exist.
    • MSGR_E_GROUP_DOES_NOT_EXIST
      The group specified could not be found.

  • pMGroup
    [in] Pointer to a IDispatch World Wide Web link interface on the MessengerGroup object indicating the group to which the contact was added. Using this pointer, clients can now code to its IMessengerGroup interface.

  • pMContact
    [in] Pointer to a IDispatch interface on the MessengerContact object indicating the added contact. Using this pointer, clients can now code to its IMessengerContact interface.

Return Value

No return value.

Event DISPID

DISPID_MUAE_ADD_USRGRP

The DISPID for this event is defined in msgrua.h. Use this value to identify the event handler when implementing IDispatch::Invoke.

Remarks

To be used when writing custom ::Invoke methods to handle these events.
