IAVIEditStream::SetInfo

The SetInfo method changes the characteristics of a stream. Called when an application uses the EditStreamSetInfo function.

HRESULT SetInfo(
  PAVISTREAM pavi,        
  AVISTREAMINFO *lpInfo,  
  LONG cbInfo             
);

Parameters

pavi

Pointer to the interface to a stream.

lpInfo

Pointer to an AVISTREAMINFO structure containing the new stream characteristics.

cbInfo

Size, in bytes, of the buffer.

Return Values

Returns the HRESULT defined by OLE.

Remarks

For handlers written in C++, SetInfo has the following syntax:

HRESULT SetInfo(AVISTREAMINFO *lpInfo, LONG cbInfo);

Requirements

**  Windows NT/2000/XP:** Included in Windows NT 3.1 and later.
**  Windows 95/98/Me:** Included in Windows 95 and later.
**  Header:** Declared in Vfw.h.
**  Library:** Use Vfw32.lib.
