GetFrameMacType

The GetFrameMacType function returns the MAC type of the frame.

Parameters

  • hFrame
    [in] Handle to the frame.

Return Values

The function returns the MAC type of the frame, which can have one of the following values.

  • MAC_TYPE_UNKNOWN
  • MAC_TYPE_ETHERNET
  • MAC_TYPE_TOKENRING
  • MAC_TYPE_FDDI

Remarks

Experts and parsers can call the GetFrameMacType function.
