How to Build the Logging Sample

You must use Microsoft Visual Studio .NET to build the sample database logging plug-in. To build the plug-in, perform the following steps:

  1. Start Visual Studio .NET.
  2. On the File menu, click Open Solution.
  3. In the Open Solution dialog box, navigate to the \Program Files\Microsoft Platform SDK\Samples\multimedia\WindowsMediaServices9\Logging folder, and then click VBDbLoggingPlugin.sln.
  4. On the Build menu, click Build Solution to build the sample database logging plug-in.
