IWMSPublishingPoint::get_CacheProxyExpiration
The get_CacheProxyExpiration method retrieves the expiration value for cached content.
Syntax
HRESULT get_CacheProxyExpiration( long* pVal );
Parameters
pVal
[out] Pointer to a long that contains the expiration value.
Return Values
If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK. If it fails, it returns an HRESULT error code.
Return code | Number | Description |
E_POINTER | 0x80004003 | Indicates that pVal is a NULL pointer argument. |
NS_E_PUBLISHING_POINT_REMOVED | 0xC00D145AL | Indicates that the publishing point was already removed. |
Remarks
The expiration value is the amount of time, in seconds, from the moment content was last downloaded, during which the content can be streamed. The default value is 86,400
seconds (24
hours).
