CBaseOutputPin::CompleteConnect

The CompleteConnect method completes a connection to an input pin.

Syntax

  virtual HRESULT CompleteConnect(
    IPin *pReceivePin
);

Parameters

pReceivePin

Pointer to the input pin.

Return Value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an HRESULT value indicating the cause of the error.

Remarks

This method overrides the CBasePin::CompleteConnect method. It calls the DecideAllocator method, which selects the memory allocator to use for this connection.

Requirements

**  Header:** Declared in Amfilter.h; include Streams.h.

**  Library:** Use Strmbase.lib (retail builds) or Strmbasd.lib (debug builds).
