ICameraControl::getRange_Exposure

This topic applies only to Windows XP Service Pack 2 and later.

The getRange_Exposure method returns the range of exposure times supported by the camera.

Syntax

  HRESULT getRange_Exposure(
  long*  pMin,
  long*  pMax,
  long*  pSteppingDelta,
  long*  pDefault,
  long*  pCapsFlag
);

Parameters

pMin

[out]  Receives the minimum exposure time, in log base 2 seconds. If the value is n, the exposure time is 2n seconds.

pMax

[out]  Receives the maximum exposure time, in log base 2 seconds.

pSteppingDelta

[out]  Receives the smallest step between settings.

pDefault

[out]  Receives the default exposure time.

pCapsFlag

[out]  Receives one or more flags. See CameraControlFlags.

Return Values

Returns an HRESULT value.
