IComponent::Clone

The Clone method creates a copy of the component.

Syntax

  HRESULT Clone(
  IComponent**  
);

Parameters

ppNewComponent

[out] Address of a variable that receives an IComponent interface pointer. The caller must release the interface.

Return Values

Returns S_OK if successful. If the method fails, error information can be retrieved using the standard COM IErrorInfo interface.

Header: Dshow.h.

Library: Quartz.dll.
