Allow connection components to be enabled or disabled

Description

Determines whether users can enable and disable the components used by dial–up and local area connections.

If you enable this policy, users can enable and disable components by using the check boxes that appear beside the name of the component in the Properties dialog box for a connection. Selecting the check box enables the component, and clearing the check box disables the component.

Disabling this policy disables the check boxes for enabling and disabling components. As a result, users cannot enable or disable the components that a connection uses.
