BGSOUND HTML Element

The BGSOUND element enables a background sound to be played when the page is visited. This element does not require a closing tag.

Attributes

Attribute Value Description
SRC URL Specifies the URL of the sound to be played. The only supported file format is WAV. Some devices might not support all sampling rates and bit depths, which can result in the file not playing.

Pocket PC: Windows Mobile 2000 and later
OS Versions: Windows CE 3.0 and later
