GPRS QoS Mapping Table

Smartphone and Pocket PC internally convert the 3G GPRS QoS settings to 2G GSM GPRS QoS settings by using the following mapping table. It is listed in 3GPP TS 23.107 V3.5.0 (2000-12).

If, by chance, a mobile operator sends a WAP provisioning XML file version that predates August 2000, the preceding mapping table is not used. The GPRS QoS settings in that specification are GSM 2G GPRS QoS settings, which Smartphone and Pocket PC support. In this case, it is a one-to-one mapping between WAP QoS and GPRS Smartphone-supported QoS settings. These settings are listed in the following mapping table.
