Provisioning for Windows Mobile Devices
A mobile operator can use provisioning XML files to configure Microsoft Windows® Mobile based Smartphone and Windows Mobile based Pocket PC.
Creating a valid, properly formatted XML document is the first step to configuring a Windows Mobile device. The Configuration Manager requires that the XML document conform to the WAP-183-PROVCONT-20010724 specification and the Smartphone Extended Configuration format. For more information about the Extended Configuration format, see Provisioning Files.
