HeapDestroy

This function destroys the specified heap object.

BOOL HeapDestroy(
HANDLE hHeap 
);

Parameters

  • hHeap
    [in] Handle to the heap to be destroyed. This parameter should be a heap handle returned by the HeapCreate function. Do not use the handle to the process heap returned by the GetProcessHeap function.

Return Values

Nonzero indicates success. Zero indicates failure. To get extended error information, call GetLastError.

Remarks

Processes can call HeapDestroy without first calling the HeapFree function to free memory allocated from the heap.

Requirements

Runs on Versions Defined in Include Link to
Windows CE OS 1.0 and later Winbase.h    

Note   This API is part of the complete Windows CE OS package as provided by Microsoft. The functionality of a particular platform is determined by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and some devices may not support this API.
