This function is an application-defined callback function that processes messages sent to a window.

LRESULT CALLBACK WindowProc(
HWND hwnd, 
UINT uMsg, 
WPARAM wParam, 
LPARAM lParam );

Parameters

  • hwnd
    [in] Handle to the window.
  • uMsg
    [in] Specifies the message.
  • wParam
    [in] Specifies additional message information. The contents of this parameter depend on the value of the uMsg parameter.
  • lParam
    [in] Specifies additional message information. The contents of this parameter depend on the value of the uMsg parameter.

Return Values

The return value is the result of the message processing and depends on the message sent.

Requirements

Runs on Versions Defined in Include Link to
Windows CE OS 1.0 and later Winuser.h    

Note   This API is part of the complete Windows CE OS package as provided by Microsoft. The functionality of a particular platform is determined by the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and some devices may not support this API.
