MatrixStack.Scale(Single,Single,Single) Method (Microsoft.DirectX)

Determines the product of the current matrix and the computed scale matrix composed from the given point (x, y, and z).

Definition

Visual Basic Public Sub Scale( _
    ByVal x As Single, _
    ByVal y As Single, _
    ByVal z As Single _
)
C# public void Scale(
    float x,
    float y,
    float z
);
C++ public:
void Scale(
    float x,
    float y,
    float z
);
JScript public function Scale(
    x : float,
    y : float,
    z : float
);

Parameters

x System.Single
Floating-point value that represents the scaling component in the x-direction.
y System.Single
Floating-point value that represents the scaling component in the y-direction.
z System.Single
Floating-point value that represents the scaling component in the z-direction.

Remarks

This method right-multiplies the current matrix by the computed scale matrix. The transformation is about the current world origin.

Exceptions

InvalidCallException

The method call is invalid. For example, a method's parameter might contain an invalid value.
