IPMRemoteDevice::StartupServer

This method retrieves or sets the startup server for the remote device object.

To retrieve the startup server of the remote device object use the following syntax.

HRESULT StartupServer(
  BSTR* pbstrStartupServerId 
);

To set the startup server of the remote device object use the following syntax.

HRESULT StartupServer(
  BSTR bstrStartupServerId 
);

Parameters

  • pbstrStartupServerId
    [out] Pointer to the startup server of the remote device object.
  • bstrStartupServerId
    [in] GUID of the startup server object.

Return Values

Returns S_OK if the call was successfully completed. If a failure occurs, the appropriate HRESULT value is returned.

OS Versions: Windows CE .NET 4.0 and later.
Header: Device.h, Cemgr.idl.
